My work is focused on the relationship of people with each other and their environments.

My people are schematic and transparent, described by body language they merge and overlap.

The slow process of layering mixed media and text echoes our many layers of history.

Early water crossings occurred in simple canoes cobbled together using local vegetation. Later explorers ventured into deeper waters searching for other lands. People now traverse the seas in a variety of vessels for a variety of reasons using canoes, dinghies and yachts through to huge luxury liners and cargo ships.

WHAT LIES AHEAD encompasses mixed emotions on venturing into the unknown where what is perceived to be often eventuates into a different reality.
